Principles

In the past 2 years, I've gotten the fortunate opportunity to learn from a lot of great people and mentors. I attribute the majority of this to my time at The Knowledge Society (TKS). TKS has helped me come across people I truly find inspirational, I call these my mentors: Pranav Menon, Ian Lockhart, Jennah Dohms, Navid Nathoo, Nate Forster, Michael Raspuzzi, Michael Trinh, Lyn Chen, Max Newlon to say a few.

  1. Everything in life is a compound interest.
  2. Address minor issues early – they snowball.
  3. Not enough time = not a priority.
  4. "Above all, don't lie to yourself"
  5. Be intentional about the top five people you surround yourself with—they shape who you become.
  6. Nobody really cares that much the way you think they do about you.
  7. Show up 15 mins before scheduled time.
  8. Build your T.
  9. It's a marathon, not a sprint. You need to enjoy the process of doing something, not the end result. This begins with curiosity.
  10. Don't ask, don't get.
